Alexis- petals and sunshine

Luckily, I had the opportunity to meet Alexis at a shoot for her family at a local greenhouse. When I saw her I instantly wanted to photograph her! I loved her long hair and bright blue eyes! I asked her if she would like to model for me and I was so happy to find out she was willing to! A few days later we met up and had an incredible shoot. I made the flower crown out of real roses, hydrangea, and delphinium! We shot at Kingwood Center in the morning and we captured some beautiful light!

Can you believe she is only 13 years old!

Birthday Dinner

My wonderful husband Derek, turned 26 over the weekend. He requested breakfast for dinner, which is extremely common in our family. I love that D likes it to.

We have ourselves here a serving of flapjacks, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, avocado, milk, and wheat toast with homemade strawberry jam. He took it upon himself to scarf it down before I could even take photos! I photographed mine while he finished his toast and avocado. We sat on the porch and watched the sun go down. Birthday Success.

It's the best feeling to have a person like Derek in my life. He has taught me so many new things and I am lucky to call him my husband. Its been a fabulous 6 years!

Cheers to the man I call mine.

Derek Thomas.
