You can call me Christmas

Many of you may not know this, but I've been blessed with sharing my Birthday with Jesus Christ. I haven't always loved it, but over the last few years I really have been able to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas! It's so important to come together with family and friends and just enjoy each others company!

One benefit of having my birthday on Christmas, everyone is always off of work and guaranteed to be over at my parents house! I also allow myself to put my Christmas tree up a week early and take it down a week late (the perks of being a Christmas baby). I've found my match for the love of Christmas Festivities and it just happens to be my husband Derek! He was more than happy to go out a few days before Thanksgiving and cut down the perfect tree. We went to a small tree farm called Kleerview Christmas Trees, located off of 546 toward Bellville. Derek dragged it to the truck and paid the man and off we went to set it up and decorate it. As we decorated the tree we listened to some of our favorite Christmas songs (Frank Sinatra's "The Christmas Song").

I love all types of ornaments, from homemade to vintage post cards, and I also love woodland creatures. Oh and SPARKLES.

Anyways, below are a few of my favorite things in my home this Christmas.

p.s. I can't wait to share my homemade Christmas Presents this year :)
